Towing Service in Derby, New York

Buffalo Towing Services accepts towing and roadside assistance requests for eligible vehicles throughout Derby and accessible portions of the Town of Evans. Potential service locations include homes, apartments, workplaces, stores, restaurants, repair facilities, parks, shoreline properties, seasonal residences and approved local roads.

Assistance may be requested when a vehicle will not start, has a flat tire, is locked, has run out of fuel, has been involved in an accident, is stuck in shallow snow or mud, or is no longer safe to drive.

Available towing may include local towing, longer-distance towing, accident towing, flatbed transport, wheel-lift towing and qualifying medium-duty towing for vehicles weighing 9,000 pounds or less.

Buffalo Towing Services is an owner-operated Western New York towing business. Our primary truck is a 2023 Hino L6 equipped with a Century 12 flatbed and wheel-lift capability.

The appropriate towing method depends on vehicle weight, drivetrain, condition, wheel position, steering, ground clearance, road surface and the available loading space at the pickup location.

Availability notice: Derby towing and roadside requests may be submitted 24 hours a day, but an exact arrival time cannot be guaranteed. Acceptance depends on current calls, travel distance, traffic, weather, road conditions, vehicle eligibility and safe tow-truck access.

Important Derby Road Restrictions

Buffalo Towing Services does not provide towing or roadside assistance for vehicles disabled directly on I-90, I-190, Route 33 or Route 198.

Service may be considered at eligible locations along Erie Road, Derby Road, Lake Shore Road, Old Lake Shore Road, Sturgeon Point Road, North Creek Road, Evans Center Road and other approved Derby and Evans roads.

Route 219 and Route 400 are not included in the prohibited-road list. However, service still depends on the exact location, shoulder width, traffic, weather, vehicle position and whether the tow truck can operate safely.

If the vehicle is stopped in a live traffic lane, dangerous intersection, flooded area, steep ditch or another unsafe location, contact 911 or the appropriate roadway authority first.
