Payment Authorization Policy
Buffalo Towing Services — A Division of MCH Enterprises
Last Updated: July 3, 2026
1. Card Authorization
When you submit your card information through our secure Stripe checkout page, you authorize Buffalo Towing Services, a division of MCH Enterprises, to place a temporary authorization hold on your card for the estimated service total shown at checkout.
An authorization hold reserves available funds but may not represent a completed charge. Your bank or card issuer may display the authorization as pending.
2. Final Charge
After the towing or roadside service is completed, Buffalo Towing Services may capture the authorized amount that is properly due for the service provided.
The final captured amount will not exceed the amount authorized through Stripe unless you separately approve an additional charge.
When the completed service costs less than the authorized amount, Buffalo Towing Services may capture only the lower amount that is due.
3. Price Changes
Calculator prices are estimates based on the information supplied by the customer, including addresses, mileage, vehicle type, vehicle condition, accessibility, and requested service.
The final price may change when the information provided is inaccurate or when additional labor, equipment, mileage, waiting time, recovery work, special loading procedures, locked wheels, an inability to shift into neutral, restricted access, or other unexpected conditions are discovered.
Buffalo Towing Services will attempt to explain and obtain approval for a material price change before completing or charging for additional work whenever reasonably possible.
4. Cancellation Fee
A cancellation fee of up to $50 may be charged when the customer cancels after a driver has been dispatched, is traveling to the service location, or has arrived at the location.
No cancellation fee will be charged when Buffalo Towing Services cancels the service because we cannot safely or legally perform the requested work.
Any cancellation fee will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the service request.
5. Release of Authorization
When no amount is owed, Buffalo Towing Services may release or cancel the card authorization.
After an authorization is released, the time required for pending funds to become available again is controlled by the customer’s bank or card issuer. Buffalo Towing Services cannot control the bank’s processing time.
6. Failed or Declined Authorizations
Service may be delayed or declined when the card authorization cannot be completed, the card is declined, the authorization expires, or the payment information cannot be verified.
Submitting a service request does not guarantee dispatch or acceptance of the job.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to provide accurate contact information, service addresses, vehicle information, ownership or lawful possession information, and details about the vehicle’s condition.
The customer represents that they are legally authorized to request towing or roadside assistance for the vehicle.
8. Receipts
A receipt may be sent to the email address provided by the customer after a payment is successfully captured.
Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and reviewing their receipt for accuracy.
9. Disputes and Questions
Customers should contact Buffalo Towing Services promptly with questions about an authorization, cancellation fee, captured payment, receipt, or refund.
10. Agreement
By checking the agreement box and continuing to secure card authorization, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and agreed to this Payment Authorization Policy and the applicable cancellation terms.
This policy is intended to explain the company’s payment practices and does not waive any rights or protections provided under applicable law.
